Racial Abilities:
Heart of the Slums: Humans who eke out a life in a city's teeming slums must be quick and clever. They gain a +2 racial bonus on Sleight of Hand and Stealth checks, and a +4 racial bonus on Survival checks in urban and underground settings. In addition, they may roll twice when saving against disease, taking the better roll. This racial trait replaces skilled.
Class Abilities:
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Rogues are proficient with all simple weapons, plus the hand crossbow, rapier, sap, shortbow, and short sword. They are proficient with light armor, but not with shields.
Sneak Attack
If a rogue can catch an opponent when he is unable to defend himself effectively from her attack, she can strike a vital spot for extra damage.
The rogue's attack deals extra damage anytime her target would be denied a Dexterity bonus to AC (whether the target actually has a Dexterity bonus or not), or when the rogue flanks her target. This extra damage is 1d6 at 1st level, and increases by 1d6 every two rogue levels thereafter. Should the rogue score a critical hit with a sneak attack, this extra damage is not multiplied. Ranged attacks can count as sneak attacks only if the target is within 30 feet.
With a weapon that deals nonlethal damage (like a sap, whip, or an unarmed strike), a rogue can make a sneak attack that deals nonlethal damage instead of lethal damage. She cannot use a weapon that deals lethal damage to deal nonlethal damage in a sneak attack, not even with the usual –4 penalty.
The rogue must be able to see the target well enough to pick out a vital spot and must be able to reach such a spot. A rogue cannot sneak attack while striking a creature with concealment.
Trapfinding
A rogue adds 1/2 her level to Perception skill checks made to locate traps and to Disable Device skill checks (minimum +1). A rogue can use Disable Device to disarm magic traps.
Evasion (Ex)
At 2nd level and higher, a rogue can avoid even magical and unusual attacks with great agility. If she makes a successful Reflex saving throw against an attack that normally deals half damage on a successful save, she instead takes no damage. Evasion can be used only if the rogue is wearing light armor or no armor. A helpless rogue does not gain the benefit of evasion.
Rogue Talents
As a rogue gains experience, she learns a number of talents that aid her and confound her foes. Starting at 2nd level, a rogue gains one rogue talent. She gains an additional rogue talent for every 2 levels of rogue attained after 2nd level. A rogue cannot select an individual talent more than once.
Talents marked with an asterisk add effects to a rogue's sneak attack. Only one of these talents can be applied to an individual attack and the decision must be made before the attack roll is made.
Talents:
Quick Disguise (Ex): A rogue with this talent can use the items at hand and seemingly innocuous material hidden on her person to create startlingly effective disguises, reducing the amount of time it takes to create a disguise using the Disguise skill. The time needed for the rogue to alter her appearance in this manner is based on the complexity of the disguise, as noted on the following table. The times are cumulative, so if a female rogue wants to disguise herself as a male of a different race, that takes 2 minutes. Source: Advanced Player's Guide

Character History:
Katja's parents were devout followers of Heironeous, following all the laws he dictated with extreme vigor. They would donate much of there earnings, which were few, to the church, and spend what time they could volunteering for it. This all sickened her, as she saw this… goodlyness… as a waste of time. She would instead revel in stealing, lying, and mugging people, though she was always extremely secretive about it. She believes in Vecna's teachings, and prays to him occasionally. However, she is part of no church, or other organization devoted to Vecna. The idea of paying monetary tribute, and hours of time is repulsive. She prays to him each night. But keeps the rest of her time mostly free from thoughts of the deity.
She loves hiding items, and as such has a fair amount of ways to hide items on her body.
As she grew up, she started arguing more and more often about their ideologies, as she tried to convince them the uselessness of all their volunteering. When she was 17, she discovered Vecna and was captivated by his teachings, and, in secret, started praying to him at night. However, she kept her actions to that. Around the age of 18, she walked into the library and discovered the art of poison-making. The extensive amount of books the library had available, even though limited to the ones non-members could access, showed her the beauty of killing, stealing, and making and using poisons. She would study there for hours each week, learning methods of robbery, methods of poisoning, methods of poison-making. In short, everything she loved, and everything Vecna encouraged his disciples to learn.
When she turned 19, she had decided that she had enough money saved up from her daily actions and stopped hiding. She bought a symbol of Vecna and started wearing it prominently on her neck. Her parents noticed almost immediately, and their screaming could be heard from several houses away. To convince her out of her ways, they prevented her from leaving the house, something which she could not support, especially once she ran out of chocolate, a food which she absolutely adored and would constantly eat. So, after 4 days of her being kept in the house, she made two dozes of drow poison, and put it in her ring. Later, when she was having dinner, she surreptitiously added the poison to her parent's food, and watched with a well concealed smile as their actions became slothful and they finally collapsed. She took a few moments to rob the few valuables, and to destroy what holy symbols they had before tying their hands and feet together. She then left the house, locked the door, and walked away determined never to return.
With the extra money that she had acquired, she set up Katja's Mixtures which on it's face appears to be a poor alchemy shop, but hides a large poisons shop.
Character Name(s)
I am Katja Austéja, and that's the only name I go by. I think people should call me shadow though, cause I like to think of myself as an expert sneaker.
Description
I'm 5'1, so not too tall, and I almost always wear dark color. Bright colors are just… too flashy. I like to think that I'm pretty good looking, though I'm not sure if others agree. I adore my hair, the dark blond color. O, and in case you didnt notice I'm human. An independant female human who is 19 years old . My face doesnt really have anything noteworthy, though I might have slightly large eyes I have been told. I have a small, black silver necklave around my neck, a cross. It's a symbol of Vecna, the god I follow.
My feet?Well, I have a pair of black boots on, and *she lowers her voice* don't tell anyone, but both of them have a hidden cavity in them, so I can hide stuff in them. Otherwise, I just have plain old black socks.
Personality? Personality quirks?
My cross, an unholy symbol dedicated to Vecna. I follow his teachings, and agree with most of the ideas that he represents. I am not easily provoked to violence, usually assessing opponents thoroughly first. If one word could describe me, I think it would be… "shadow". I like to think of myself as discrete, in an elegant fashion, like a shadow. It's quite difficult to provoke me to violence, though I will often be ready for any attacks, cause I always think extensively all the time, and especially when I could be in danger. I hate religious zealots, and goody two shows since they will never listen to reason. I also hate dumb brutes who attack stuff without ever thinking. The thing I fear most is… well, not much other then the usual die stuff, but I woun=ldn't count that cause that's just… common. I'd have to say the thing I fear most is somehow to become like my parents, religious Zealots.
Family, Friends, Enemies:
My parents, they are idiots. They’re middle class workers, who are extremely devout, worshipping Heironeous, and donating most of their time, and money for the church. It’s sickening seeing them donate their entire life for some creature they’ve never met. The last time I saw them? *She has a grin appear on her face* The last I saw them was after I had poisoned them, and tied them up in their house, robbing them of all valuables. They still are there I think, though I don’t plan on going back, unless it’s to destroy their lives again.
Growing Up:
Who was your character's best friend when s/he was growing up? Was it a person, pet, doll?
What is your character's fondest childhood memory?
What is your character's worst childhood memory?
It is common for one's view of authority to develop in their adolescent years. What is your characters view of authority, and what event most affected it?
Who was your idol growing up? Who did you first fantasize about in your life (either wishing you were like, sexually, etc)?
When I grew up, my best friend was Algéne (Ah-ll-j(As in Jaques)-é(As in Seine)-nne) another kid from the block. He has, shall we say, moved on. He is now a cleric for one of them petty dieties. My fondest childhood memory would probably be when I finally left home. My worst childhood memory is when he left, when Hessil left me without ever saying anything to me. Just disappeared.
I… I really don't mind authority. I don't mind authority as long as it is reasonable, and in my best interests. However, the current authorities of the city do not meet those requirments; for example they disaprove a poisoning and torturing a person, even if he is in the wrong.
How you spend time questions:
*Who is your character's closest mundane friend(s)?
*Describe them and how your character relates to them.
*What would be the perfect gift for your character?
*What's the most beautiful thing you've ever seen?
*What time of day is your character's favorite?
*What is your character's most favorite food?
*What is your character's least favorite food?
*What is your character's most favorite drink?
*What is your character's least favorite drink?
*What habit that others have annoys your character most?
*What kind of things embarrass your character?
*Why?
*What doesn't your character like about him/herself?
I have a poisonmaking business. I use my alchemy shop as a cover shop, but my real business is poisons. Anything you can think of I have, and then more. I adore this work, as it represents my life, stealthy deception and murder. I got interested in it after reading about the art in various library books. My hobby is pretty much just making poisons, which I do in most of my free time. The thing that annoys me the most is religious fanatics. I’m fine with religion, though I don’t like lawfull good religions, just the Zealots are idiots. They annoy me. The per
